For those growing up in Millfield there have been inspirational and dedicated youth workers and teachers over the last 40 or more years. They have helped to set up clubs and sporting activities to support young people and made a huge difference to their lives. Mr Trivedi became a qualified Youth Worker in 1974 and began his career by forming a Sunday volleyball club, which later became the Asian Youth Club. Designed to keep boys away from trouble, the club grew in popularity and soon after there were around 50 young people attending the sessions.
