My early memories of Millfield circa 1945 was our daily shop there from All Saints Road for fresh vegetables from Wagstaffes, bandages and plasters from Whitwells and DIY type goods from Crussels but sadly no pictures. In addition we also collected bread direct from Fowlers Bakery early on Monday mornings.
